We will offer full refunds for products that have not been shipped otherwise please select carefully as refunds will not be provided after shipping unless they are incorrect or damaged. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number as soon as you can to determine if your product has shipped or not.
Incorrect Item/Damaged on Arrival
If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery at email@example.com
Refund Policy for Services
The Australian Consumer Law sets out consumer rights that are called consumer guarantees. These include your rights to a repair, replacement or refund where a product or service you buy fails to meet our consumer guarantee.
Purpose and scope
This policy applies to the refund of tutoring and workshop session fees, supplied directly by Mfacts Studio and not affiliated partners, that have been paid by students/parents (‘You’ or ‘you’) to Mfacts Studio.
Mfacts Studio offers the following services
One-to-one Tutoring programs both online and in-person and;
Small group Tutoring programs both online and in-person
Workshops both online and in-person
Pre-recorded workshops as part of our Home Packs
Small Group School Holiday Programs
Workshops and Tuition
Via bank transfer or cash
Or Paypal if applicable
Workshops including School Holiday Programs –
100% refund will be provided 21 days or more from program or workshop start allowing us time to re-sell your place.
50% refund will be provided between 20 and 7 days from program or workshop start.
No refunds can be given 6-0 days from program or workshop start.
Home Packs – are not refundable other than under Australian Consumer Law
One-to-One or Group tutoring:
Weekly payments are not available. Term commitment is made.
Make-up sessions/provisions are available but no refund for missed sessions is available in group classes.
For one-to-one tuition sessions, refund or reschedule of class available if 24hours notice is given.
Payments may be made via transfer online or in cash (in person). Your instructions will be on your invoice
Invoice will be sent at the start of each term, with first/full payment due two weeks into the term
You may pay in full at this date or make two instalments across the term.
Second instalment will be due three weeks before end of term.
Refunds under Australian Consumer Law
Cancellation where there is a failure in delivery of a session
Under the Australian Consumer Law, the tutoring sessions offered by Mfacts Studio come with the guarantee that they will be:
provided with acceptable care and skill or technical knowledge and taking all necessary steps to avoid loss and damage;
fit for the purpose or provide the services that Mfacts Studio and you agreed to; and
delivered within a reasonable time frame of the scheduled session time/s
Mfacts Studio is legally obliged to provide a full refund if requested, where there is a ‘major failure’ of one or more of the guarantees. A major failure occurs where the service:
has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if they had known about it; or
is substantially unfit for its purposes and cannot easily be fixed with a reasonable time; or
does not meet the specific purpose that it was intended for and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time period.
If the failure that has occurred is not a major failure but is still a failure on the part of Mfacts Studio, Mfacts Studio is required to rectify the failure. This might involve, but is not limited to, rescheduling a tutoring session, or part of a tutoring session.
